The Greatest Letter

Back in the month of April til May '2002, I received few letters. Sent by the greatest person I've ever met. This person never realize what he wrote was actually the greatest letter I've ever received. This person never realize that, for the very first time I believe that 'loving someone unselfishly' does exist and it matters. I kept this letters just the way it was folded and handed to me, as a tribute to a person who was able to just loving without wanted to loved back.

What I Don't Have and Do Have...

I don't have...
a face as handsome as Stephen Gately to be proud of...,
a cell phone so I can send you sms or 'missed call' you anytime you want...,
a car that I might be able to take you to any places...,
a funky outfit as cool as you can imagine..., and
a glorious voice as great as Ronan Keating, so I can sing a lullaby for you...,

But I do have...,
a heart that loves you undividedly and unselfisly,
     without hoping for payback ...,
ears to listen to your problems and hectic life ...,
eyes that always adore your beauty ...,
a mouth that keeps on encouraging you day by day,
and saying how much you mean to me ...,
arms to protect you and hold you when you're affraid,
feet and knees to follow your steps and stand still to wait for you,
also to bow down before God when I pray for you ...,
a brain of knowlegde collection that you can use as your own private library..., and
shoulders that you can cry on whenever you feel sad....

As I found this letter that, actually, writen with purple ink, outside was rain, and the water droped on the paper. I felt a pinch in my chest as I was watching the ink faded. Maybe that was it. Let the rain washed your footstep.

Is the love I gave her in the past, gonna be enough to last, if tomorrow never comes?
